Who we are

Laboutik Sinoi is responsible for the personal details you give us on this website, and is based at Mall A, La Croisette, Grand Baie, Mauritius.

What we collect

When you send an order request, we receive:

• your name;
• your phone number and/or email address, so we can reach you;
• any note you add, such as a delivery address or pickup time;
• the products and quantities you asked for, and the date and time of the request.

We don’t take card or payment details on this website, and there are no customer accounts. Your cart is saved only in your own browser until you send the request.

We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies. Like any website, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information (such as your IP address and browser type) to keep the site running and secure.

Why we use it

We use your details only to deal with your order request: to contact you to confirm it, arrange payment and delivery or pickup, and answer your questions about it. We need them to do what you asked us to; if you’d rather not give them, we can’t process the order.

We won’t send you marketing messages or share your details for anyone else’s marketing.

Who handles it

Our staff see your order request in order to handle it. We also rely on two service providers:

• Vercel, which hosts this website;
• Supabase, which stores order requests in a secure database.

They process your details only on our behalf and under their own data-protection terms. If we message you on WhatsApp, that conversation is also handled by WhatsApp under its own privacy policy.

Storage outside Mauritius

Our service providers keep data on servers outside Mauritius. We use providers that protect it with security measures and contractual safeguards for international transfers, as the Data Protection Act requires.

How long we keep it

We keep order requests only as long as we need them to handle your order and keep our business records, then delete them. You can ask us to delete yours sooner.

Keeping it safe

Order requests can only be viewed by signed-in staff. Your order confirmation page shows your reference only, never your details, so no one can look up your order from the link.

Your rights

Under the Data Protection Act 2017, you can ask us to:

• tell you what details we hold about you and give you a copy;
• correct anything that’s wrong or out of date;
• delete your details;
• stop using your details, or object to how we use them.

Email us at hello.sweetfix@gmail.com and we’ll reply as soon as we can. If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled your details, you can complain to the Data Protection Office.

Changes to this notice

If we change how we handle your details, for example if we start using analytics cookies, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
